The app is free to download. It gives you full control to customize and automate your DoorTag.

Intuitive
  • Select which DoorTag you want to connect to in the app.
  • Create your own signs in no time. No complicated software needed!
  • With one click, you can select any of your signs. Within seconds, the new sign is displayed.

Automatable
Or simply use the built-in time function to display a predefined sign based on time and date.

Integrations
Working with Microsoft Teams and co.? The app can automatically display your current Microsoft Teams online status on the sign.

For every platform
Currently, the app will be available for desktop (Windows, Mac, and Linux). A free smartphone app is also in development.

How does it work?

  1. Order: Get your DoorTag from our online shop.
    (once available)
  2. Mount: Attach your DoorTag to your door using the built-in magnet or adhesive pad.
    Or simply place it on your desk – your choice.
  3. Install the app: Download the free app for your PC.
    (available at product launch)
  4. Connect: Open the app and connect to your DoorTag.
  5. Display: Choose what you want to show on your DoorTag using the app.
  6. Sync: Optionally, sync DoorTag with applications like Microsoft Teams.
    This way, your status – like "Available" or "In a meeting" – is shown automatically.

Who is the DoorTag suitable for?

For everyone!
Whether you're working from home, in the office, as a musician, student, or pupil, and want to communicate something to your surroundings. The operation is child’s play, and you have complete freedom to design your DoorTag according to your preferences.

How does the DoorTag work?
The DoorTag consists of a display that can be controlled wirelessly without an additional adapter. You can then connect with the app and display whatever you want.
Is the DoorTag illuminated?
No, the display uses e-paper technology and behaves visually like a sign made of printed paper.
Which colors are supported?
The display supports white, red, and black.
How long does the battery last?
The DoorTag has a general battery life of around 6 months if you update the display 20 times a day. This would be, for example, 6 meetings and 4 breaks per workday.
The battery can be recharged via USB-C.
Is the app free?
Yes, the DoorTag app is free to use.

Only some integrations, like those with Microsoft Teams or Slack, require a low-cost subscription. Unfortunately, we have to handle this way as we have ongoing costs for these integrations.
Which platforms is the app available for?
The app will initially be available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
Additionally, a free app for Android and iOS is planned.
